Part-time and Casual Team Members
Part-time and casual employee hours are based on a schedule as determined by supervisors or managers to meet the needs of Performance Automotive.
Attendance
Regular attendance and punctuality are part of each team member’s job responsibility. Team members are expected to be at work on time every scheduled day. “Being on time” means starting work at the designated time. Arriving a few minutes early allows you to grab a coffee and say hi to your team and still be ready to start on time.
According to the business author Stephen Covey, showing up a few minutes early each day helps you to build an “emotional bank account”.
Covey says, “It’s like a financial bank account into which you can make deposits and take withdrawals. And if you get into a situation where you are constantly making withdrawals... you get an overdrawn Emotional Bank Account. It kills your freedom, your flexibility and your credit capacity. Making deposits into other people’s emotional bank accounts consists of doing what is valuable to them. Showing up on time, or a few minutes early, shows your manager your team that you are serious about your work. On the day that you get stuck in traffic, you can relax a little, knowing that you’ve built credibility with your boss and team.”
Long Service Leave
After each period of [10] years continuous service, Performance Automotive will provide you with long service leave of [4] weeks on full pay.
