Customer Authorization process

Use this checklist as a guide on completing customer authorization for all new jobs that come through to the workshop.

* This checklist can also be used as a training for new employees and apprentices in the workshop.

1.    Review new Repair Order

2.    Review customer requests for the service

3.    Review technician recommendations for the service

4.    Send repair order with revised services to client

5.    Review service recommendations with client

6.    Ask client to approve online the jobs. (This is the signature part of the operation - No signature, no work)

7.    Adjust Repair order after approval as needed

8.    Order anything needed

9.    Put into workflow

10. Carry out repairs
